On 24/04/15 I made a manually EFT payment on my RCA account. Due to internet banking problems an auto payment again went off on 28/04/15. I did not receive any notification about this payment to go off or that it has been credited in my RCA account. Our local branch said they will try and reverse it but failed and for me to contact the loans department and arrange with them that to have it as the payment for end May. This I did and was told it is not our problem, solve it with Brooks and Luyt to whom the account was handed less than two years ago after my heart attack and I couldn't make payment for three months. Brooks and Luyt are too busy to attend to calls and don't come back or answer emails send to them. All they do is send out threatning sms's and emails, when asking for proof they just keep quiet. Ironically this account is already in advance (as to the original term) and suddenly the statements from Standard Bank has stopped showing I pay more a month than what they (Standard Bank) expect. Now how do I trust Standard Bank to handle my money once my annuities start to pay out in January 2016? Sorry Standard Bank you are loosing a customer!!!
