I have a money market and cheque account with you guys. Upon opening the money market account I clearly read that should I need access to the funds in my account I can do so at any time. The easiest way would be to transfer it to normal account and access it from there. Simple right?
So on the 09/06/2015 I transferred funds from my money market account to my cheque account, I was expecting the funds to reflect immediately, but no luck. I decided to give it 24 hours. Still nothing. Its been almost 48 hours now and the funds are reflecting as part of my cheque account balance but its not available to use.
I called the contact centre and was told that I need to go into a branch to have it cleared! For what reason? The consultant spoke to someone who told him that only they can't say why I need to waste my time to go into a branch to have something done that should of been simple according to the benefits of the account that you proudly advertise. This is why I use internet banking in the first place, to stay away from actually having to go into a bank. What if this was a real emergency and needed that cash?
