Complaint / review text:
On 2014/06/13 I received a call from Blue Bean Credit Card Division to make payment arrangements on my account, which was for the 1st of July 2014 of an amount of R1500 and will be debited off my standard bank cheque account as per initial agreement. It also came to my attention that the debit date was the 28th of each month which I am 100% sure i didnt agree too because i get paid on the last day of each month.
I know telephonic records when i took the credit card will support this. On 2014/06/14 an amount of R1000-00 was debited from my standard bank saving account. On 2014/06/17 i went to my local standard bank branch, Scottburgh where i was informed that the amount was debit towards my blue bean credit card.
Why was an arrangement on the 2014/06/13 made? Who authorised the debit on my savings account?
I fear my banking with Standard Bank is no more safe and secure for me as Standard Bank can do as they will with my money inspite of existing agreements. I believe my Consumer Right to Fair and Honest Dealings has been compromised and a breach of contract from Standard Bank
