Complaint / review text:
I was a loyal FNB customer until they upgraded me to cheque account - firstly i dont have / qualify for any credit on my account beacuse i am under debt may they delayed transaction i made while i still have funds in my account and those transaction reflected as if they went thru on my account while i did not have funds. Now they told me i owe the bank money amount to R2400 which i dont understand. I decided to change my account since i saw some corruption in all of this.
1: isnt reckless lending to let someone who is over indebted to go on a minus
2: isnt reckless lending to upgrade someone to cheque account while they on debt review
3: why was i continued to be charged even if i am not using account anymore.

I was happy with the bank till they turned on me and said i owe them money

I am taking this up with Ombusdman till i get clarity as to why my account went to a minus if i dont have ove
