Complaint / review text:
I applied for a credit card and was told that im under debt review by the call centre agent. She couldn't tell me who put me there and advised me that i phone ITC. I phoned all the ITC companies (XDS, Compuscan, Experian and Transunion) they all told me that I'm not under debt review. I went to the centurion branch and the advisor phoned the call centre, they told her the same story. She asked me if they can do an ITC check on my name while in the branch. On the ITC report they showed me that i was not under debt review and that they will send the documents to the credit card division. After a week i phoned the branch and asked to speak to the consultants Manager. She/he was not available and i left a message. Still waiting for them to call me back. After almost 2 weeks when i followed up with the consultant at the branch i was told that i need to go to the police station to get an affidavit to proof that i never underwent debt review. This is ridiculous. I have to got out of my way to get documents in order to fix a fault that's clearly on their side.
