I have Nedbank Greenbacks credit cards and a prepaid card. On 23 May I received an sms from Nedbank advising that my card was due to expire end July and the new card would be sent to a Nedbank branch or posted to me. I found that my prepaid card was expiring end July but there was a problem. The sms quoted the last four digits of the card which did not match my card. A few days later I phoned the card division to clarify this and was told that they must have made a mistake with the number and not to worry about it. A week or so later I received a phone call from someone at Nedbank card division to confirm delivery of my new card. I made the necessary arrangements. A few days later I received a second call also purportedly from Nedbank, also to arrange delivery of my new card. I informed the caller I had already made arrangements. Today I called the card division to redeem greenbacks into my prepaid card. I told the person assisting me I have not received my new card yet. She told me prepaid cards are not replaced by card division. All I had to do was go to the counter and get a new card. I am very concerned. Why am I receiving sms's and phone calls? What's going on Nedbank?
