Complaint / review text:
On 9th January 2014 I submitted my claim at Absa Consultants & Actuaries (ACA) in Johannesburg CBD. I was told that my provident fund money will be transferred into my bank account within 3 months. Up to this day no money has been transferred into my account as promised. Several times I visited the ACA offices to find out the reasons for the delay, only to be told many stories. At first I was told that my former employer had not contributed in the last 7 months of my employment. I then gave them proof of payment/contribution from my previous employer. Again I was given another excuse that my claim had not been processed. Each time I go there I am given a new reason or story regarding the claim. Right now it's more than 6 months since I submitted my claim. Absa's failure to process my claim has left me frustrated.
I resigned from my employment in December 2013 after 9 years 10 months of service with the same employer.
I therefore request hellopeter to assist me in this matter.
