We requested our policy to be cancelled, after many tries to contact Miway, finally an agent called and informed us that the policy was cancelled. We were told that we will be refunded one months premium as we paid double premiums on inception of the policy. Then a few days later one months premium was debited. We contacted Miway and they said that they will debit us two months premiums as we paid double on inception of policy and Miway in correctly debited our account even tough the policy was cancelled.
A consultant asked us to get a bank statement and sent it to them to prove that Miway deducted the premium. That is nonsense, why should I go and pay for a bank statement and pay to fax or email it to Miway when they can see on their system that the account was debited.
Miway is just passing the buck as they have in competent staff and do not want to honor our agreement.
I am tired of Miway now, and I am considering reporting Miway to East Coast radio consumer watch as well as the ombudsman. I think the world needs to know how in competent Miway is
