I frequented Leon's Restaurant 8787 Telegraph Rd in Taylor, MI. Maybe once, twice a month. I like the potato soup. My friend had a coupon for a dinner for two $13.99. I thought COOL. It just said excluding holidays. Not valid with any other offer. Expires 10/04/2010.
I ordered a Turkey dinner and my friend order a grill chicken dinner. I had tea and he had coke. The whole think came up 21.00 bucks. Not bad.
Well I got the bill slid on the table on the refill of our drinks. I presented the bill with my coupon and was told by the owner that he will not accept the coupon. I didnt order off of the menu specials. I told him that the coupon did not state Tuesday specials only. The specials are ALWAYS the same dishes anyway. He said I did not order of the menu... I told him I HAD to order off the menu because I had the menu to read off if. It does not say anything BUT excluded holidays. That's it.
He said he would accept the coupon NEXT TIME but not this time because I didnt order off the menu... I thought. HUH???
This is not good customer service practice... If he does not want to accept the coupon. WHY HAVE IT PRINTED? So I took the whole ad and ripped off the off whole order coupon... And said... Are you going to accept this? He did accept it but would not accept the other. Did THAT make sense? What the H e double hockey sticks matter with a few bucks off?
I told him there are hundreds of other restaurants in the area and I will not be dining there anymore... He shrugged and said if that is how I feel. That is ok... He still will not take the coupon.
. I will not be going there again... Good potato soup or not.
