Complaint / review text:
On Monday 4.5.2015 We went for dinner at ocean basket Kimberley.
We ordered a cheesy mussel pot and was told its not their product but should go to John Dory's.
My daughter ordered queen prawns and was told the are out of stock. She asked for King prawns and was offered Prince prawns as the do not have King prawns in stock.
The mussels i received was tiny tiny little mussels. I know we cannot have west coast mussel size mussels in Kimberley but if they are so small maybe they can try and source bigger mussels somewhere else.
Even the mussels at Checkers and pic and pay is huge in comparison to the mussels they served us.
Kimberley Ocean Basket is really not up to standard. Coming from Cape Town this is unacceptable. This is a franchise and surely you have a minimum standard.
