I worked at Bankers Life and Casualty for 2yrs as a recruiter and until I graduated from college I also have twins to support as well. So this lady calls me said she saw my Resume on Monster then told me about possible job opportunities at Bankers Life and Casualty at first I told her no thanks I don't want to be an Agent then she mentioned recruiting jobs that you can do from home, what that job consisted of is you get a ton of Resumes being sent to you and call these people offering them career opportunities you hook them up with the manager to come in for a briefing, for each person that shows up for you it is $20.00 a person HA what a joke, people who tell you that they'll come in for a job briefing at Bankers Life and Casualty most likely never show up because like me they hate commission.
So if you are a recruiter working for the company from you end up maybe having a total of $40.00 to maybe $100.00 within a 2 week pay period. Thank God I had another job while doing this because there is no way you can live on less then a $100.00 when you have bills and 2yr old twins to support. I remember occasions when our paychecks were late and the other lady told us that theres nothing they can do about late paychecks because we are a 1099 hmm like they can't be a little more ethical when it comes to paying people on time I guess not.
I hated that company and their ways of paying people was horrific. Bankers Life and Casualty really doesn't want to pay their recruiters to them they are on the bottom of the barrel and they actually feel that the recruiters should bring in Agents for them for free without Bankers having to pay them.
