Complaint / review text:
I put my package on a hold to be picked up after there had been an attempted delivery because I was out of town and no one would be home to answer the door. I went to go pick up my package this morning and even though it'd been put on a hold, it was sent out for delivery anyways. So, I left work early today and waited for my package for an hour an a half while tracking the package online until it said that there was an exception - customer not available or business closed. The delivery man didn't even try to deliver the package to the house.
So then I spoke to a representative who told me the package was on hold and had been at the facility for an hour. I drove to the Fedex store again for the 2nd time to pick up my package only to be told it was not there and the driver could not redeliver it. So Fedex, (the bright minds that know how to sort packages!) expects me to go there for a 3rd time tonight to pick up my package that I should've gotten in the morning had they done their job right and held my package like they were supposed. I've been chasing my package back and forth and this is ridiculous. No one should have to chase their package around if the company is doing their job right.
