I had a tire blow out for no reason on a dry road going 30 mph on my 2014 Silverado with the tire only at 22000 miles. No heavy burdens on the tires, just going to walmart and a giant crack occurred within the treads. The blow out was severe enough to push the wire and some of the belt out of the tire. Took it to the dealership and I still have to pay 70 dollars for a new piece of garbage (Goodyear tire) on my new truck. Unfortunately it seems that most GM vehicles have this trash plaguing their rims. When I get the cash I will have to switch to a better product from a company who values the safety of the people who are driving on their product over money. I wouldn't have such a harsh fact about Goodyear tires if they cared and attempted to rectify the problems with their products but they don't. They always want to resort to the phrase “impact damage" when it comes to faults in their products and charge you for their responsibility.
Very disappointed in this product. I am currently shopping and preparing to change the tires on my pregnant wife's 2014 equinox (which also has these Goodyear tires) because I worry that she and my unborn child will be the next organ donors if her tires do the same on the highway and cause an accident. Completely ridiculous.
