Complaint / review text:
Had a package coming, wouldn't be home for delivery, "signed" online to have it left at door without a signature, got confirmation for this and printed it out. Package wasn't left, a door tag saying "signature required" was. Called Fedex, a nice rep spoke with me, said she'd ask driver to come back with package that same day and that someone would call me in 2 hours to update me. No one called, driver didn't return. Called Fedex again, was told that the local Fedex depot never got that request. Liars.instant communication and they "didn't get it."
Filed complaint with Fedex, got a reply 10 days later from someone who assured me that my experience with Fedex wasn't typical. It sure as hell IS, this has happened before.in another instance, I stayed home for a delivery so that I COULD sign for the package, and guess what? Fedex came, left it on our front steps, and didn't ring the bell. I found it hours later, after waiting around all day TO sign for it. Poor communication, no communication, miscommunication = Fedex!
