I bought a sports car with an engine that costs $5000. I wanted to be able to protect the engine and so I went to Delta Auto Protect because they were able to give me more mileage coverage for a more affordable rate than anyone else. Customer service thoroughly assisted me, but it was a little complicated because they’re the third party between you and the car dealer and figuring out the balance in the third party was a little hard.
When I have filed a claim with them it was very easy. I simply had to call and give them information about what was wrong with the vehicle along with the name and number of the auto shop. I gave the auto shop the same information and they called them. I made the mistake of having the oil change at the same time, and so Delta Auto covered the labor and the parts. They did not cover any of the sales tax or any additional parts that were needed, but they covered what was quoted and nothing else. Overall, it was very easy.
