Complaint / review text:
I called FedEx after missing their second attempted delivery to schedule a pick up time last Friday. Knowing that now they would deliver on Saturday, I changed my mind quickly and the customer representative felt annoyed yet lied to me that she cancelled the pick up and would get the last attempt of delivery the day after. Alright, the package did not deliver on Saturday and I thought they did not really make any delivery on Saturday so I waited over the weekend patiently. Not until the coming Monday (today), I tracked my package online and the package is on hold at a local office! How dishonest of their customer representative.
I had to call once again and another representative said that I had called to cancel the last delivery service and would pick up by myself. I asked her to check the complete record then. Though she found out it was their mistake, she kind of said that I had cancelled the order at first so what has happened is I deserved. I was so disappointed at how they bent the truth.
From my past experiences, if I ever decided to pick up the package by yourself, I got to leave a phone number for them to call back regarding the available pick up time. Now, the package has been scheduled for pick-up with me not knowing about anything it. I remembered that last Friday I asked the customer representative five times to make sure that she put back my package to a normal scheduled delivery status and she guaranteed that it was back to normal.
FedEx is an epic fail. This package is sent via ground service and had taken over six days to make the first attempt of delivery. UPS would have made the first one on the third if not the fourth day. If I got to choose, I will not send anything via FedEx; I will simply go to UPS because of their credibility and reputation that FedEx does not have. I am hoping that I won't have to call FedEx tomorrow.
