Complaint / review text:
I'm not sure who to turn to with my problem. I already contacted the Better Business Bureau about this, and they seem to be doing their part, but I don't think it's enough.
Here's my problem. I purchased a set of new tires from Tire Kingdom a year or so ago for $1,000 dollars. Roughly 6 months ago, my family and I (including our 3-year old granddaughter) were on our way to Crystal River for vacation, and I had a front blow out. My granddaughter freaked out. Anyway, when we got back to Holiday, I went to Tire Kingdom and showed them the tire that blew. They said that it was my fault due to lack of air pressure in the tire. I drive an '04 F-150 that is in great shape, as in I take care of my vehicle. I know the difference between a fully inflated tire and a tire that's on the rim. Me and one of the store managers got in an argument, and they would sell me another new tire for $108.00 dollars. I got nothing accomplished that day.
I went back a few days later and talked to a different store manager. He said that same thing the first one said. Another argument formed, then I left. I contacted the BBB and they contacted Tire Kingdom, and a Joey, Area Director of Sales. Tire Kingdom emailed me about my problem. I responded to his email by calling him. I left a voice message telling him who I was. He never called me back. So, I called him back two more times with no response. I don't know what is going on with this business. They are seeming a bit flaky to me. So I emailed the BBB once more about this so-called contact with Joey. This was on Wednesday, I have yet to hear back from anyone. I have one blown tire and two more defective tires.
