Don't buy anything from Mike Thompson RV. We purchased a 2011 38ft Montana 5th Wheel at the Pomona RV show.
We purchased it at the end of Oct 2010 we finally picked it up after Thanksgiving after the walk thru repairs were completed. We had to make the first payment before we even had the trailer in our possession. Since then it has been in for repair three times. We have had it on a maiden trip to Vegas where the hot water heater did not work on electric and the couch bed would not stay inflated at night.
To fix these repairs took two more weeks. We again took it to Vegas for another maiden trip, where everything worked fine. We are now ready to go on a planned fishing trip and the electric system that runs our jacks and slides doesn't work. Our trailer has been in the shop more times then we have had it out.
I had to resew all if the curtains in the trailer because they were sewn with such a loose thread if you pulled them they came stitched. My husband had to re-hang all the day-night shades and re-enforce the brackets that hold the curtains back. They would not replace the latch that held the drawer in under the couch because there is only a 30 day guarantee for such things. Mind you we did not receive the trailer until 50 days after we bought it. Do not do business with this company.
They are great until they get your money. We had a Seabreeze 5th wheel that was 10 years old and had not been in for repairs as much as our new 2011 Montana, from Mike Thompson RV. I think that two short trips in a trailer we have had for less then a year doesn't justify the number of times it has been back for repairs.
It has camped more at Mike Thompson's then we have in it. They have every excuse in the book for why YOU have an inferior trailer.
