I ordered a package from the USA. UPS contacted me to assure me that the package would be delivered today (28/6/13) as I will be leaving for the States. They told me there is an amount to be paid which could be paid by credit card to the driver. Today Vernon of UPS tells me that the money must get paid prior to delivery. I explained that his staff assured me that I could pay by card upon delivery he stated that its not his problem. He then took the money off my card and then said that UPS has until next Tuesday to deliver. I explained somewhat irately that I need the parcel before I leave. He told me that that's too bad. I asked who I could escalate this to and he refused to give a name. Never again.
