I too signed up in Jan. For a track day @ $129.00 each from a mall display at HillCrest Mall in Richmond Hill. One Card for me and my wife. I asked many questions before signing up. I have done many track days at Mosport before, so this is the track I wanted. I request (Mosport) Canadian Tire Motorsport track, the long track. Not the development short circuit.
When the call me to book my date for the track I am told the price is much more for the long track. I agree to the increase and buy 2 more laps for myself. The sales rep tries to up sell my on video, pictures VIP food. I decline. I few weeks later I receive a call saying my date is cancelled. I ask for a re schedule of the same track later. They say they do not have another booked for a weekend, only weekdays. I state I can only attend a weekend event, and request a refund. They refuse, I call many times to discuss other options and they will not budge. All they want to do is sell you more laps or get you to go to another track hundreds of kilometers away. The customer service girls I spoke to are a complete waste of time, as they have no authority to give refunds and will not let you speak to anyone who can. I told them just as much and they became angry. I told them what they are doing is fraud. If you cannot provide the service I paid for you must give a refund.
I finally called MasterCard to explain my situation with this company. After filling a written report I was given a full refund. This is were it gets really nasty. A few days after my refund G1 tours sends ME a collection notice!!! They sent this to collections for a service I never received? What kind of business does that? Never do business with these cons.
