Complaint / review text:
We moved at the end of may from CT to JHB. We were horrified at how our goods were being handled on the day and complained immediately. The boxes were left on the pavement in the rain and the workers were rude and arrogant when we spoke to them.
They broke the legs of a big chest drawer and showed no concern telling us to claim from insurance. Several items in our boxes sent in as FRAGILE were broken.
Now that we are claiming the damaged items they are not compensating us accordingly and wont cover any broken items in the boxes because they say they did not pack them. Why does Pickford's even exist if their service is so bad and they try to hide behind their disclaimers. This is really an unethical company with terrible staff
