I have been a lifesaver customer for a year now and have had nothing but issues I have had a false positive brought on by using windshield wiper fluid to melt the ice on my windshield it came into my cabin and therefore triggered a fail.
I called customer service numerous times to try to get a credit for this false positive and many times they treated me like dirt and did not get back to me. I am now talking with my probation officer trying to explain to him how this happened and he really doesn't believe me. I have been an exemplary person throughout my probation and this false positive is putting my future in jeopardy. The device also lost power the day before Easter and I had to sit in the parking lot with two kids for two hours while I waited for a tow truck. I called customer service and they had no idea why my car had power but the interlock device did not. I have also noticed that after I turn off my car the interlock requests a sample 30 seconds after I had turned off my car luckily I was close enough to hear it go off as I had already shut my door and walked towards my home. These devices are manufactured and put together by the lowest bidder and they are relied upon way too much for the supervision of somebody on probation. I have not drank in over two years and never want to again but I am continually being punished for the poor choice I made years ago.instead of keeping our roadway safe I believe the main purpose for this device is a money collection. The company even knew that it was a false positive and still made it extremely hard for me to get a credit. Enough is enough!
