Every time I call Eddie Bauer nowadays I feel like I'm talking to someone who just doesn't care. I have had orders go wrong in past years, but I have just ignored it out of loyalty to Eddie Bauer.
This year we had an order that really mattered. A pair of pajamas somebody really wanted. The order was placed and because of a glitch in the system, I am told the order was never placed. We were never contacted.
I happen to call back to check on the order. The order was supposedly re-ordered, however the lady I spoke with ordered the wrong item. It arrived today and of course I can do nothing about it because it is right before Christmas and the item we wanted is now out of stock. And of course the people I spoke with or not the least bit interested about the situation their company has caused.
Eddie Bauer, if you wish to continue to have customers you need to value your customer service.
We have spent $600 so far this season and we generally do a significant amount of our shopping at Eddie Bauer every winter. We are done with Eddie Bauer!
