Complaint / review text:
I have noticed that many companies that respond to complaints on your website do so with a standard, cut-and-paste response that says something to the affect of "Thank You for your complaint, your query has been forwarded to our complaints dept and a representative will get back to you shortly". And then often, that's it. Your hear nothing more from the Company. This has happened to me in both my previous 2 complaints.
Now I know that we have the ability to rate the Companies' response and provide feedback, but this feedback remains somewhat hidden to other users when looking at the list of complaints for a Company. You can only see the feedback if you open an individual complaint. There needs to be an icon against each complaint showing the status of the response or resolution. (e. G. The status chosen by the customer during feedback).
I also suggest a special feedback status / feature for customers to tick to indicate the % of times a Company promises to get back to them without ever doing so. This will help to prevent Companies from window dressing with these cut-and-paste responses in order to appear that they "respond" and then never do.
