Ripped off - HP Customer Service

Complaint / review text:
I recently contacted HP for my HP 110-023w regarding not being able to connect to the Internet. The technician offered me all kinds of paid support from $99.99 up to over $200.00 for the service. I took the $99.99 because I really did not know if they would be able to solve my problem of not being able to connect to the Internet. They did not.

The technician assured me over the phone that he could fix the problem, but he first needed my credit card informaton! I should have known then it was a bad omen. I stayed on the phone with a number of technicians for over 5 hours being transferred from one technician to another only to have to tell them that it was getting late and I had to go to work tomorrow.

The techinician stated I can call you back tomorrow and we can fix this. I said okay and provided him with a good time to call. On the next day (06/09/2015) we started the process all over again. I again was transferred to no less than 10 technicians each time having to provide the same information over and over.

Finally, I asked for a refund. What did I do that for? They started the transfer process again telling me that I needed to be transferred to the right person to start the refurnd process. Again, I was transferred over and over and over until I just could not take it anymore, which it what I think they were trying to accomplish in the first place.

I finally told the last tech to do whatever it is they need to do to get me a refund of my money since they did not accomplish the task they said the would and call me once they have completed it. I received a call the next day (06/10/2015) stating that they would be unable to refund my money, as they do not guarantee that they can fix the problem!

I told the guy I figured that would be the case and jus to keep the money the swindled me out of without obtaining any results. Subsequently, I got got. I will never purchase anything that I know Hewitt Packard has anything to do with and I would advise others to do the same. It is not enough that I paid over $750.00 for my PC less than 2 years ago and I have only used it approximately 50-70 times for short periods of time.

I have other devices that I use such as my android phone that has the same capabilities pretty much, and I have a laptop. It should be against the law for companies such as this to operate without fear of punishment just becasue they are in the Fortune 500 from ripping off middle to low income people with sub-standard products and services.

In my conclusing HP, I am a man of the cloth and I can assure you that you may think you have gotten away with something, but the God of Heaven and Earth has the last say. And by the way, it does not matter if you believe there is a God or not He still exists. You can't see air either, but trying living without it. You can't see it but it's there!
