I got a Samsung Netbook for Christmas 2011, it was great at first. I used it for school i typed all my notes for class and assignments on it. I often used it to surf the web at home too, i loved it and everything was fine. Recently in about May i had a weird issue where my mouse did not move or function at all, i restarted the netbook and turned it back on. It would not boot at all and refused to do anything, it also refused to take a usb stick to reformat. I got my tech brother to help me set it back up to work again and it worked fine for probably on and off for a month, it still had mouse issues but sometimes it would fix and i didnt worry about it.
It got to a point where my computer died completely and wouldn't take anything. And every time i installed a new operating system it did not work. My fiance came over and took a look at, he is a IT tech professional and a programmer so i trusted his word. He said the netbook needed to be replaced and whatever he did, did not fix the netbook. He said it was internal because the mouse keep hitting up against the top of the screen. I had a warranty with Samsung for a year so we called them up and i my fiance wrote a techy letter to the company explaining what was going on.
So here is the fun part, Samsung said why my netbook was messed up because i installed Windows 7 incorrectly, my fiance said there is no way you can install it incorrectly. Also they said they wanted $40 for them to put back Windows Starter on my netbook because it was apart of the warranty policy. They also charged us for shipping and handling another 15 dollars, so yes i just got my |fixed" netbook that they paid us for and guess what, my mouse doesn't work and my computer is full of Samsung products all over my pc... Right now i am about to scream i will never ever buy a Samsung again.
