Purchased a Samsung fridge in November of 2012. Compressor has a five year warranty. Fridge stopped working in February 2014, so it is out of Best Buys warranty period, but still under Samsung. Over 5 weeks (and counting) and we still do not have a working fridge. Authorized repair company took over a week to come look, another week to get parts, another week to come back... But parts sent from Samsung were defective. New parts ordered, another two weeks, parts installed yesterday. Fridge worked for about three hours... Now nothing. Repair has already cost Samsung 400 more than we paid for fridge, and Samsung needs to replace fridge!
