Energy Plus would never give me a straight answer on enrgy rates

Complaint / review text:
I received an offer in the mail for 7,500 Marriott points for switching my electricity provider in Illinois from ComEd to Energy Plus. After many emails and a phone call, it turned out to be a complete waste of time and there business model is obviously a sham.

They never gave me a straight answer to a simple question: Can you please give me your previous 6 month rate history so I can do a comparison before switching? This was their email response: "Because we're constantly taking advantage of daily market prices, our rates are variable and may change daily; therefore, it is not possible to give you an exact rate over email. We prefer to review our present and historical pricing information with you over the phone because our rate depends on several factors, including your exact location, the number of days in your billing cycle and the local taxes you pay. I can tell you that we strive to provide value for all our customers."

When I called and spoke to a customer service representative, they refused to give me any hitorical rate information.

Do not waste your time with this company!
