Technician (ID #0585679) / Service #40739790 came to house to assess malfunctioning Whirlpool Microwave on 14/7/2014. After assessment, Technician (Kevin) informed me that microwave could not be repaired.
He then submitted email to claims department of Assurant. However, when I contact Assurant's customer service department (spoke to Karen), they informed me that A&E Technician "failed" to call in the complaint via phone therefore, Assurant cannot honor the claim until technician calls the Assurant claims department. As a result for the last two weeks, I have been on the phone with Customer Service of Assurant and A&E without any resolve. Both companies point fingers back and forth without honoring the claim to either repair or replace the microwave!
As such, I am totally disgusted with both A&E and Assurant. I also followed up with Whirlpool's customer service department documenting my dissatisfaction with the lack of service from Assurant who is the extended warranty provider for Whirlpool.
