Complaint / review text:
I looked into attending school at AU. The first issue occurred when the academic advisor indicated that they would enroll me in their BA degree program for January. After I filled the application and sent in the paper work, I didn't hear from them. I sent plenty of emails and phone calls. The academic advisor kept blowing me off as if I was bothering him and kept telling me to call him back. Later on, I found out that he put me in a November class that, at the time, was to start in a week. He finally changed it to January 2010. I was also told that all my credits from my previous school were received and being evaluated. Again, to later find that they never requested the information and were not evaluating anything.

I had resent the paper work again and guess what, during my fourth class completion, they still indicated that they were not received and have to contact the school. I was told twice and had documentation that AU said they were received to find out that they didn't. Me as a student would be held accountable for misrepresenting myself in any way. What are they not being held responsible? They are misleading and their faculty are the worst. All I kept getting was passed around back and forth, one person blaming the other, etc., instead of fixing my issue. Think twice about applying here.
