I was a BSIT student in my third year and only had 21 credits to finish. I was unfortunately in a car accident and had to take time off from school. I spoke to the advisors but still was put down as withdrew or abandoned classes. When I tried to get back into school, they told me that the program changed and 50% of my credits were no good because those classes were not offered anymore. I was then told that I would have to take over 50 more credit classes to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
I was pissed off and now I am trying to go back because other colleges said that those 147 credits only apply to Kaplan's course and would only accept about 50%. Well, that pisses me off because those courses are not easy and to retake classes or new ones to regain the lost credits would only add two years to get my degree. Kaplan is very hard to get on the phone except when you owe them money because they will call you seven times a day until they get you.
