Complaint / review text:
I purchased a GE gas range from home depot online and installers came in on Aug 2nd 2014. Burners could not light but oven was lighting up.
Installers and I spent about 30 minutes over the phone with GE trouble shooting but no success. GE advises to call Home Depot since I bought it from home depot. Home depot says the earliest a technician can come to look at it will be after 4 days!!! So I go 4 days without cooking?
She says there's nothing else she can do! I ask if I can get a loaner from my local home depot 2 miles from my house or even get someone from there to help and she says no!
We end up driving to Lowes and got a samsung model installed and worked like a charm.
Be aware that home depot on-line purchases will be a headache to resolve issues if the equipment you buy is defective.
