Complaint / review text:
I searched on google for the cheapest deal on the internet for a split unit and Alpine Air had it. I called to order via CS number and while on the website added things to the cart and the CS told me that they would not have the outside unit in stock for 3 weeks!!!
I was like wth, so I ordered the other parts like the A-Coil, Outside Pad and washable filters for the unit and they told me that they would ship them on Friday. So I placed that order and went to another website and ordered the outside unit which came in today which is a Tuesday. To make a long story short, they lied to me about the ship date and held the order back waiting on the washable air filter to come back in stock before they would ship!!! I told them to split the order if they have too because I need the A-Coil and Pad!???
They told me they could. Well today (Tuesday) I called back and asked them to check on the shipping and I wanted a tracking number or I would have to cancel the order. They told me that they already had a ground label on the package and that they upgraded the shipping to over night and I should get an email within 10 mins telling me the tracking. That was 6 hours ago.
No emails from them and no tracking on the website!!! Horrible customer service and stock on hand. I can say that Hvac.com did me right and got my order out fast. The unit I got from them was in great shape!
I will never buy nothing else from Alpine Air ever again. If I can I will cancel my order first thing in the AM if they can not get me that tracking number showing me that it went out over night as promised!
