Complaint / review text:
We ordered and paid for a laptop online through Firstshop on 2nd Nov 2014. We immediately received a mail thanking us for our order. On Tuesday 4th Nov we received a mail from one of the sales consultants apologising that the laptop hadn't been dispatched yesterday as their systems were down on the Monday. Acceptable.
On Thursday (6th), we followed up.., and so the drama began. Unfortunately they made a mistake and actually DIDN'T have stock, they had to order in from Europe. During the entire month of Nov, WE had to follow up as to where our laptop was. We were bounced between consultants and by the end (1st Dec), we were told by a "Shenaaz" that she was too busy to follow up with us every day and that we must remember that SHE (which isn't true) had to order in SPECIFICALLY for us (also, not true).in my eyes, that isn't my problem, is totally irrelevant, and completely unacceptable to be told as a paying customer.
In their defence, we were given the option to cancel the order but decided to stick it out (probably not the best decision).
Just a note to say, we are YET to receive our laptop. Watch this space.
