Complaint / review text:
My husband and I also have issues with this company. Our son (11) received a text that he opened from Flycell. He then just deleted it. However, apparently once you open one of their solicitations, unless you proactively contact them and enter the 5-digit code they put in the very bottom of the text message, you are automatically subscribed to their service whether you want it or not. We didn't even realize this until we got our monthly cell phone bill.
I notified my phone carrier; and the CSR explained what happens with these 3rd-party solicitors. My phone service carrier did stop the charges, but when I notified Flycell, they told me they would not refund the charges because "they assume we want the services, whether we even use them or not". I was able to put a stop payment through my phone carrier, and our kids now know not to open any unknown text messages on their phones. Flycell comes across as a rather unethical company, to say the least.
