Purchased a Polaroid 19" Model TLX01911C HD TV from Walmart on Dec 23 2008.2 weeks ago it totaly shut down with only a clicking sound. Tried for the last 2 weeks to contact the 888- number for customer support it rings, you get a recording an are put on hold. I left the phone on hold w / speaker phone on for 5hr. NOTHING?
Called Polaroid in MN. All he could say sorry about the situation and that they could fix TV for a fee more than I paid for TV form WAL-Mart. How a company like Polaroid can sell such a inferior product and not stand behind it is why our country (U.S. A) is in the sad state it is today. I give Up. Out $220.00 for 10 months of tv that is on only 2Hr a Day
Brought a INSIGNIA from [competitor] for less money and w/2yr warranty and if it goes to hell I can return it to them for repairs. No more having to listen to phone s that don"t answer your calls and a company that says more or less [tough].
