A front loading Frigidaire washer I purchased 2 years agos just stopped working. I had bought the extended warranty and called for service.
That was one month ago and I am still sitting with the broken washer. At first I was told it needed a new motor and after 2 1/2 weeks it was replaced, I was told they were waiting for the part. He made the mistake of leaving the box it came in and I used the tracking number and found they had the part for 10 days. I was then told it needed a motor control board.
The frigidaire contract people have been no help, telling me I just have to wait. I was able to track the part needed and the serviceman has it in his possession, but the company will not even tell me when they are coming!
I have tried speaking to a supervisor and am told I will get a call back in "about 24 hours". I have gone to the Frigidaire website and tried contacting customer service without a response.
So I sit with a big white metal box. You can be sure I will tell everybody I meet to never purchase a product from this company if this is how their customers are treated.
