Complaint / review text:
After multiple attemps to contact you by different phone numbers i gave up! It was busy or non working number (from your web site). I want to let you know about one of your managers in your Bayshore NY store. The way he degraded an humiliated one of his employees...in front of alot of customers, one of them me. It was embarassing to me to listen to an uncomfortable to say the least. His attitude is one of " Im better than you". The man he spoke to was maintenance. This is what he said... You were suppose to go to lunch, dont you know what time it is?
Man replied"I have no watch". Manager says"You got a job, you got $, why dont you buy one!!!
" managers states this loudly n sarcasticly. Man replys"I pay my bills an buy food wth my $, cant afford a watch...". The maintenance man was polite n never lost his cool. Show alot of self control. This manager continued with..."well go to lunch now, come back on time". He was so nasty to him. This is harrassment. The managwrs name is Ronson, maybe you can send him to classes on how to treat people with repect, an what is considered employee harrassment. Funny thing... I saw this maintenanence man (hes around 28-30 yrs old) in another aisle working an talking to another worker... About his COLLEGE CLASSES!!! How hes struggling to get his education. Shame on that manager for demeaning him in front of all those people. It woulve been nice to talk to someone at your corporate office, but i kept getting a constant busy signal for 2 hrs. Why? Hopefully you will include, as part of your training for managment, what Harrassment (of all kinds) is, and what is NOT acceptable.
