Out of Product and no way to get a rain check.

After checking the circular, checking my manufacturing coupons and adding my digital coupons to my Shoprite card, I arrived at my local Shoprite about 10:15pm. Realizing they were out three things that I had manufacturing coupons and digital coupons for I asked the employees did they have any more Bic Lighters, (I know they were ready to go home because I heard them announce over the loud speaker several times, what time they close) she basically didn't care she shrugged her shoulders and went on to what she was doing. Then I asked someone else she said "what is there is what we have." I asked what aisle. One of the stock males told me aisle three. No Bic there. While in line I asked about getting a rain check. The answer I got was "uh huh". Then I asked could I call in the morning and no comment. A customer said you should beable to call in the morning you have your receipt.

I called and after explaining my situation I was told she spoke to the manager and there was nothing they can do. That I needed to asked to speak with the manager that is on at night when the courtesy desk person is gone for the night when I need a rain check in the future. You would think the head person/supervisor would of know that and would of relay it to the customer. Oh, that's right it was time to go, they didn't care. It is all about the customer experience. If you are not going to help the customer up until the end of the night then maybe you should change your shift or find a new job.

I really didn't want to do this but I thought someone needed to know. This is not the first time they were out of product.
