I’m not that impressed with Easy Rest. I think it’s pretty much overpriced. So I probably wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. It’s very difficult for a 79-year-old to adjust to sleep habits that are different than they used to all of his life but my wife wanted the Easy Rest bed and she was the one that purchased it. Since using it, I finally learned to sleep with it in a slightly raised condition. And I do sleep a little bit better but I also have sleep apnea so I’ve got a CPAP machine that I have to wear. Everything gets more difficult as you get older. But I don’t necessarily have to have vibration and heat and all that. I typically don’t use the vibrator. But my wife likes it. She says it puts her to sleep. It keeps me awake. Even when she is vibrating her side of the bed, it comes over on my side, too.
My wife loved their sales rep. She was fantastic, very dynamic and very charismatic and she won my wife over completely. I wasn’t here when the delivery team brought the bed but my wife was and there’s a couple of things that I do have a complaint about. The controller for the bed has a set position and once set, it’s always set on my side. I don’t know if her side is any different. But I can try to set it to a different position and when I hit that one button, it goes to the set, the first time I set it. So I don’t know if there’s something wrong with the controller or what it is. And also, they took me the wheels or rollers or whatever it is off the bottom to try to get it a little lower because I’m short legged. Consequently, we can’t move the bed around very much. I’d like to have the wheels put back on so it can be moved. Customer service will probably do that.
