When we first told you about the project to rehab the 14th Street Bridges back in osrs gold May, I said the right lane on the northbound bridge would be blocked off for three months and then the construction closings would move out into the other lanes. 14th St. Bridge Project Work Overview Live Bridge Cam Project Twitter Feed Full Coverage Turns out the construction schedule changed, so the pattern that drivers encountered all summer long is likely to remain in place for the rest of this year. This probably is good news for drivers, as long as it doesn't lengthen the overall time it will take to complete the repair project. Shutting the right lane and shifting traffic to the left, while maintaining four through lanes, looked to me like the best of all the configurations for traffic flow. Blocking the middle lanes and moving drivers.
Yes, people will still buy gifts, and you can't stop everyone. But maybe someone will make a donation to an appropriate organization in your child's name instead, or give to toys for tots instead, and you will have fewer gifts to deal with, less stress, and maybe an opportunity to help your children learn your values.
To paraphrase Thorndike's Law of Effect, rewarded behavior is likely to increase in frequency and unrewarded behavior is likely to decrease in frequency. Take Miss Puss. Each morning, she taps you on the face at four o'clock, letting you know that she'd like a can of kitty morsels. She seems in dire need of a meal, so you do her bidding and unwittingly reward her behavior. You can bet she'll be back the next morning! She has learned that tapping yields tasty treats. However, if you had turned a cold shoulder to her early morning pleas, Puss would have had no reward and no reason to try that tactic again.
I aware of the stats they post. You cant get any idea of a number from that without knowing how many unique accounts there are and how many are legit. You just making assumptions and throwing numbers around like most statistics. You could say the same about rs3 some months, look back at rs3 vs osrs numbers in june, july, august etc. The bans are actually about half. A lot of weeks rs3 was around 30 40k and osrs 60k. Rs3 even had 1 week with 117k bans. So when you compare rs3 generally have 20 30k online and osrs being around 100k, is rs3 60% bots also based off them numbers at that time? Not saying osrs doesn have a lot of bots, but they also have a ton of legit players. How many unique accounts do you think login in a given week vs rs3 of legit players? The difference is staggering I sure. Bigger game with more values will obviously have more bots. That also doesn mean botters. Those bans include gold farming alts from arena, people who exploited bugs etc, not exactly bots. Plus, even if 60% of the base were bots, its still would be a larger game than the more modern, up to date version, which still says a lot when a version from 10 years ago does better.
