Norton wiped out all of our programs - on two PCs. We purchased Norton 2013 from the OfficeMax store last week. On Friday night, I put it on my computer and it didn't install after the computer restart. What it did instead was wipe out all of the programs on my computer! I called the 800 number from the contact list on the website. They told me I have to contact Microsoft and that this is not from their program. The following day the install did the same thing to my mom's computer. I called Norton again and they still are denying that there is anything wrong with their product. I then had to pay to have our computers fixed and have all the programs re-installed for us and had them put on a different internet security program.
I filed a complaint with the BBB about this. I want to be refunded for the product, the amount for computer repair, and also for the time spent on this issue. I have spent hours holding with customer service and have yet to speak with someone in America. Supposedly, I will be receiving a phone call tomorrow from the company, but we'll see about that. What a terrible product and even worse customer service. If I heard one more person tell me to call Microsoft, I am going to scream!
