"Free Diagnosis." ~ MyCleanPC Commercial
SOFTWARE: Obviously a scam! I downloaded and ran it just for the heck of it, and it found 1000 errors! 1000! It was a new computer then, and the software somehow found 1000 errors on it! When you try to "fix" them, it tells you to purchase it, which sets off red flags. It seems to be scare ware, bent on getting your money to fix useless and non-existent errors. Additionally, the software was supposed to remove malware (which it doesn't), which seems like false advertising to me.
WEBSITE: The website looks generic. It contains user reviews, downloads, and contact information. I checked the user reviews, and every one seemed positive, which perfect grammar and videos of people who dressed too well for a simple user review. They seemed too perky, and the user reviews are probably fake, since every other source says that they received horrible reviews. The contact info has a support email address which is linked to a completely different website, UsTechSupport.com, which was blacklisted as a scam by HPHosts. Also, the MyCleanPc.com website was blacklisted for Fraudulent Services and whatnot. The website even had a VeriSign logo on it, but the website didn't have any certificates as far as I know. Don't trust MyCleanPC!
