I've been with Bonitas since 2007, my mother who is my dependent has one lung, osteoporosis, diabetic, 4 stents in her heart, high blood pressure, asthma, it is very costly buy her medication that supposedly was on Bonitas chronic list but Bonitas blatantly!!!
I've called Bonitas regarding the unnecessary most expensive co-payments, I first called Bonitas to enquire this and I was told that if I used pharmacy direct I would not pay for the co-payments at all, I am now with pharmacy direct and I have to pay a large amount chronic medication, I then spoke to a Ms Moloko who gave me her email address and told me that she will personally get back to me with a list of chronic medication that she has on record but to this day I have not received a response. I then sent a few emails to Bonitas requesting a list of chronic medication that the have on record but I still did not receive it!
I advice everyone to stop using Bonitas as they are slow, incompetent and not there to assist sick patience.
