Bad service from topmed

It is very sad in today's day and age that medical schemes can still do as they please and never accept responsibility for their mistakes. They are quick to terminate your medical aid but it takes them 5 months to actually contact you and then only tell you "You've been terminated in June". However they've had no reason to do so as they've received payment. Then they tell you they've sent numerous emails, but guess what they've spelled the email address wrong. They further claim that they've sent correspondence via post but we all know what happens at our local post offices. My concern is I've been without a medical aid for the past 5 months (unknowingly). This scares me as I'm traveling long distances on a daily basis. I know about so many people that die because they do not have access to medical aid. I have spent the last week trying to sort this out with Gerda Tesselaar, one of the managers at TopMed, telling me that she fully agrees and understands my situation, She's agreed that they received payment but cant put me back on the medical aid before a certain time. She's been of no help what so ever I've been in contact with my lawyer and would advise people to think twice
