Network doctor not paid

Complaint / review text:
I visited a network doctor on the 29th of October 2014 for a consultation.

Knowing that network doctors' consultations are not paid from my medical savings account (my GP is a network doctor and his consultations are not paid from my savings) and knowing that my savings have been depleted for this calendar year, I used the MAPS tool and visited doctor le Roux who is fully covered.

I received an email today stating that the doctor would not be paid as I had no funds available in my medical savings account. I phoned the call centre but could not be assisted.

My question is this: Why is one network doctor paid from "Insured Network Benefits" and another not?

I have read through my plan brochure and this is not explained anywhere. Had I known about the different rules for different network doctors I would've waited for January 2015.
