I signed up for LA Weight Loss on October 7,2009. One of the main reasons I signed up with LA Weight Loss was to be able to speak one on one with a counselor in the centers, someone that would help make me feel accountable for my weight loss. About 1 month after signing up, all LA Weight Loss walk-in centers announced that they would be closing their doors as of Thanksgiving. I no longer had the program that I signed up for. I tried contacting LA Weight Loss for about a month and a half before I actually got to talk with a customer service person. Finally, when they did return my call, I was informed that they would refund me part of the money for the weekly portion of the program but that I would still need to take shipment of the remaining LA Lites that I had pre-purchased, all 35 boxes. I was no longer getting the program but they still want me to get shafted for the money that I put into the bars. Someone knew when I signed up that the program I was being offered was no longer going to be offered. I feel cheated and swindled.
