Bonitas members have to make use of Pharmacy Direct as a DSP, so they don't have a co-payment on the medication.
I have to phone Pharmacy Direct monthly on behalf of various members to confirm if medication have been claimed, and dispatched. Our members don't receive their CHRONIC medication on time!
This is unacceptable as this is for in some cases severe illnesses... Will Pharmacy Direct step up to the plate when one of these clients have a heart attack (for example) due to them not receiving and drinking their medication on time!!!
Pharmacy Direct should inform the medical aids if they aren't equip to handle these volume of services.
Bonitas please contact some of your members who make use of Pharmacy Direct and hear from them how they experience the services provided (lack thereof)
Pharmacy Direct aren't servicing your members as they should...
