The Ritz Hotel Cape Town, WORST HOTEL EVER

Complaint / review text:
We checked in on the 26th December 2014, we had two room 1609 and 1611, i stayed in 1611. First of all the pictures and description on the internet are false, the only nice thing about the room was the linen. There were no books to tell us what time is breakfast what numbers we call for room service, or a menu. If you asked for something it would take no less then an hour, we asked for the key for the connecting rooms, they took an hour an a half, and we could not keep the key. The room had no fridge like the website said it would have, they said that is on request, so we asked for a fridge and they said they will get us one and nothing happened. The towels were sometimes nice and sometimes we got towels with holes and falling apart. The carpets were gross i wore shoes continuously because it felt sticky. I had to clean our bath every day because room service didn't (or did a half job). One night we came back and our bed wasn't made only one, the other bed wasn't made and had no duvet cover over. The windows of the hotel sounded as if they were going to break they were shaking all night and the wind was coming through, i couldn't even sleep. I would not recommend this hotel
