Complaint / review text:
1. On the 3rd of November 2014, an advisor contacted me via email and phone to discuss medical cover for myself and my mother.
At the end of the discussion, she sent me a preliminary email containing documents for the cover only for myself, which included a FAIS quote and an application summary.
These documents were never signed and returned to her, and I informed her on the phone I would look at them when I had a chance. To reiterate, I never agreed to these terms in writing by signing a quote or an agreement. Cover was explained telephonically.
2. On 19 November 2014 I received an email containing a membership certificate confirming start of membership that I still hadn't signed for.
3. On the 12th of December 2014 I sent the same advisor who had been communicating with me an email asking about the status of the membership, as well as information about the debit order.
I received no reply.
4. A debit order was returned on my account, again, for a membership I never signed for and didn't get any of the information I requested about.
Next thing I recieve emails and SMS's about non-payment and arrears and cancellation of membership.
I hope this can be resolved.
